First Town Downtown Heritage Bricks and Time Capsule, 1996

On August 15, 1996, the newly-formed First Town Downtown organization dedicated their Heritage Brick walkway on the Windsor Town Green. The bricks, which are still available for purchase, are engraved with family names, personal messages, love notes, anniversary wishes, and memorials in honor of deceased family members. First Town Downtown also buried a time capsule filled with 1996 information about Windsor at the same time and are hoping to open the capsule in 2016. Copyright 2015 Windsor Historical Society.
