Washington Lodge #70, 1902In 1902, First Church in Windsor constructed a parish house at 153 Broad Street. Built to accommodate "modern church life," the parish house had a kitchen, reading room, pastor's study, chapel, and several parlors for church gatherings. First Church sold the building to the Washington Lodge of Masons in 1955 and constructed a new parish house adjacent to their church on Palisado Avenue. Washington Lodge #70, established in 1825, owns the building and continues to meet here. Copyright 2015 Windsor Historical Society.
